What you walk away with
After a term, here's what's actually different.
The program
What's in it.
A free first week
- Meet your child's one-on-one tutor at home
- Try a group session at the library
- Only continue if it's the right fit
Weekly one-on-one
- Gaps closed fast, at your kitchen table
- Homework support across all subjects
- The same tutor every week
Weekly small group
- Core skills drilled under time pressure
- Confidence from working alongside peers
- Builds independence that lasts
A take-home practice pack matched to each week's lesson, and a plain-English end-of-term report on what's improved and what to focus on next.
The group sessions
Small groups. Real supervision. No one hides at the back.
Why groups at all?
Knowing how to do something and being able to do it quickly, alone, under exam conditions are two different skills. The one-on-one hour builds the first. The group hour builds the second, with a tutor watching, so mistakes get caught the same day.
How they run
Five students per tutor, maximum. Grouped by ability, not just year. Every student gets their own set of questions pitched at their level, so nobody sits through a lesson they've already mastered.
Pricing
Three ways to run the term.
No add-ons, no hidden costs. Every option starts with a free trial week, and you only pay for the eight weeks after it.
Group only
1 group session a week at Campbelltown Library. For students who want the drilling and the pace of a group, without weekly one-on-one.
The full program
1 one-on-one lesson a week in your home, plus 1 group session a week at the library.
Accelerate
2 one-on-one lessons and 2 group sessions a week. For students catching up fast or pushing ahead.
Any one-on-one lessons not used during the term are kept as credit for another time.
Groups are capped at five students per tutor.Term 4 runs 12 October to 11 December. Spots close early.

FAQs
The questions we get most.
Who is this program for?
Year 7 and 8 students who want to lift their maths, whether that's catching up on concepts they missed, steadying out after a rough term, or getting genuinely ahead before Year 9. Students are grouped by ability rather than strictly by year.
Is it just maths?
Maths is the core of the group lessons, alongside study skills, exam technique and the habits that make it stick. In one-on-one lessons your tutor can support any subject.
What if we miss a week?
Let us know ahead of time. We'll reschedule the one-on-one lesson where we can, and unused sessions are kept as credit. If a group session is missed, your child can usually join another group that week, or we'll send the lesson plan and worksheet.
What happens in the one-on-one lessons?
Your regular tutor comes to your home once a week and works through your child's gaps, alongside current homework and class topics.
Do you follow the school curriculum?
Yes. We work to the Australian Curriculum as it's taught in South Australian schools, and to what your child's class is actually covering.
How will I know it's working?
Your tutor reports back after lessons, and you get a written progress summary at the end of term showing what's improved and what's next.
You're after one-off cramming the week before a test, or casual tutoring every few weeks. Our support is weekly and consistent, to build changes that last.
